Our patent-pending Soft Shell covers use a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment applied directly to our four-way stretch, quick-dry performance fabric. 
This makes the cover mildly resistant, so dew and light spray bead off the surface.
A strategically placed Active Venting Panel allows excess moisture that would normally be trapped in the boat to escape and evaporate.
The result is reduced mold risk, improved ventilation, and reliable UV protection.
Remove your softshell cover if the forecast calls for heavy rain.

Are the softshell covers suitable for long term open element exposure protection? 
No, Softshell covers are designed to be easy on/off daily cover.  If leaving your boat for extended times in open elements and especially when rain will be occuring we urge you to use your factory cover to avoid damaging your cover or potentially your boat.

How do I maximize my Softshell performance?
Keep your cover Clean and Dry and never place or leave a wet softshell cover on your boat.  Allow your softshell cover to dry out daily and always store somewhere where it can dry if wet.

How do I clean my softshell cover?
Machine wash in cold water with mild detergent
Warm Tumble Dry without softeners or additives

Rain does not damage your boat. It is the trapped moisture under your heavy rigid cover that is damaging your boat and interior with mold and mildew.
